Primary source: Forbes Real-Time Billionaires list.
Net worth figures are estimates based on publicly available financial data — stock holdings, private company valuations, real estate, art collections, and other assets tracked by Forbes. Key points:
- Figures are in US dollars (USD) and may not reflect pre-market or after-hours price movements.
- Private company valuations (e.g. SpaceX, OpenAI) are estimated and can vary significantly between reporting periods.
- Net worth does not include illiquid assets such as trusts, hidden holdings, or debt obligations beyond what is publicly known.
- All data is for educational and entertainment purposes — it is not financial advice.

3. Conversione valutaria
The tool supports 10 currencies: USD, PLN, EUR, BRL, INR, IDR, TRY, JPY, KRW, VND.
Base prices are in USD. Conversion to other currencies uses:
- Primary: Exchange rates fetched from our backend API, updated from financial data providers.
- Fallback: Hardcoded baseline rates stored in the client bundle for offline/fallback scenarios.
- Caching: Rates are cached in localStorage for up to 24 hours to reduce API calls.
Currency conversion is a visual approximation — actual exchange rates fluctuate in real time and may differ from the rates used in the tool.

The simulator uses a straightforward calculation:
Wealth Spent (%) = Total Cart Value / Billionaire Net Worth × 100Where:
- Total Cart Value = Sum of (item price × quantity) for all items in the cart.
- Net Worth = Billionaire's total net worth in USD (from Forbes data).
The progress bar updates in real time as items are added or removed. Once the cart exceeds 100% of net worth, the display shows "Fortune spent!" but continues tracking.

Results are mathematical estimates that do not account for interest, inflation, taxes, investment returns, or changes in spending habits over time.

- Spend $1K/day: Net worth ÷ ($1,000 × 365.25) = years to spend it all.
- Buy Jets/Islands: Net worth ÷ item price = maximum number that can be purchased.
- Pool Fortunes: Sum of all 15 billionaires' net worth = combined total.
- 24-Hour Spree: Net worth ÷ 86,400 seconds = spend rate per second.
- Give to Everyone: Net worth ÷ 8,000,000,000 = amount each person receives.
Results are simplified mathematical illustrations. Real-world constraints (market liquidity, time constraints, logistics) are not considered.

- Difference: The absolute difference in net worth between two billionaires (A − B).
- Years to Earn: How long it would take at $60,000/year (average US salary) to earn each fortune. This is a simple division and does not account for taxes, savings rates, or career progression.
- Jet/Island Equivalents: How many Gulfstream G700 jets ($75M each) or private islands ($25M each) each billionaire could buy with their entire fortune.

Biographical data — birth dates, education, nationality, company information, and fun facts — come from publicly available sources including:
- Forbes billionaire profiles
- Wikipedia and publicly available biographical records
- Official company websites and SEC filings for educational background
Fun facts are verified through multiple reputable sources. All biographical information is believed to be accurate as of the last update date but may not reflect recent changes.
